Order your kit

Two kits, the same 91-day alpha-track test — pick yours on the compare page. Your kit ships free within 1 business day and return postage is included either way. Inside: the detector, a printed placement guide, and your prepaid return packaging.

  • Signature — tracked courier both ways, with a prepaid Canada Post return label in the box.
  • Essential — regular lettermail, which isn't tracked: allow 4–7 business days for delivery, with a prepaid return envelope in the box.

Place the detector

Follow the placement guide — lowest lived-in level, away from windows and vents. Takes about 2 minutes. We'll send a check-in email on Day 7 as a reminder to verify your detector is still in place. You can start in any season — for the most representative reading, include at least 91 days of the heating season (about October–April). More on year-round testing →

Wait 91+ days (we’ll keep you on track)

Your detector needs at least 91 days to capture an accurate long-term reading — you can leave it for up to 12 months for an even more representative result. We’ll check in at Day 7, Day 30, and Day 60 so the test stays top of mind. You don’t need to do anything during this time.

04
Return your kit

At Day 85, we’ll email you step-by-step return instructions. Return anytime after 91+ days (up to 12 months). Seal the detector in the return packaging that came with your kit — then:

  • Signature — attach the prepaid label and take it to a Canada Post depot, post office, or authorized postal outlet. It travels as a tracked parcel, so don’t use a street mailbox.
  • Essential — drop the prepaid envelope in any Canada Post mailbox. No label to attach and no counter visit.

Just tell us in the portal that you’ve mailed it — we take it from there.

Get your results

Within 2 business days of the lab posting your results, we’ll email you with your radon level in Bq/m³, how it compares to the Health Canada guideline (200 Bq/m³), and links to general next-step resources.
