Editorial & Data Standards
How we produce our content. Every article and data page on RadonTest.ca is written against primary sources — Health Canada guidance, published surveys, peer-reviewed research — and reviewed before publication. Health and statistical claims carry their source; when guidance changes, we update and date the change.
How we handle data. Our Canada Radon Map uses published, aggregated survey data only (see the full methodology). We name every source and its year, we version our data compilation, we never blend different surveys into a single statistic — newer and older results are always shown separately and labelled — and we never publish anyone's individual test result.
Corrections. When a verified error is reported — a number, a source, a translation — we correct it and note the correction on the affected page. Report one via our Report an Error page.
Independence. RadonTest.ca sells radon test kits, and we say so plainly. Our informational content carries no sponsored placements, and no manufacturer or third party pays for coverage or rankings. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency or survey organization; sources are credited on every page that uses them.
